Instructions on how to copy to A drive
Sent from Trudy
To transfer graphics, pictures, documents from the hard drive (normally called the C: drive) do the following:
- Open "My Computer"
- Click on C: Drive
- Open "My Documents"
- Click and open "My Pictures"
- Put floppy diskette into A: Drive (3.5 floppy)
- Right click the picture
- Click "Send to" pick A: Drive
- Upon saving you can delete from hard drive.. might want to make sure it did save to the A: Drive floppy before deleting off the hard drive.
Wherever you have graphics, documents, or pictures just read these instructions and it will do the rest.
If you have any questions feel free to ask. Some may have a different route to do this, but to me it is easy.
Upon getting graphics instead of saving to hard drive just put in a diskette in A: Drive right click the graphic and click Save As ... it will open a screen up make sure you go to 3 1/2 floppy A Drive then click save. You can also change the title of the picture if you like. If you save to floppy, make sure you delete from the hard drive, this will open up free space for you. You may have to defrag after doing this... floppy diskettes (amount to use) depends on how much you saved to the hard drive.
