Beatitudes For The Christian Home

Blessed is the woman who makes homemaking her greatest career for thus she will fulfill God's will for her life.

Blessed are the father and mother who set the example of making Jesus Lord of their life and family.

Blessed is the mother who takes proper care of her family in every area - body, mind, and spirit.

Blessed is the home where the children are taught that true wealth doesn't consist in what we have but what we are on the inside.

Blessed are the husband and wife who are as polite and courteous to one another as they are to their friends, and who love each other more than anyone else in this world.

Blessed are the children that are taught discipline love and obedience, for thus they can be sure that they are loved.

Blessed is the home where problems are kept at a minimum (no matter how great) and blessings, praise and thanksgiving at a maximum, for such a balance makes for beautiful living.

Blessed is the home where father and mother radiate a joy in their work for this is Blessed is the home where the diet consists of laughter and joy, for this is pleasing to God.

Blessed is the home where father and mother encourage their children to make use of their talents and are willing to invest time and money to help train them so that they can be used by God.

Blessed is the husband who surrounds his wife with a Christ-like tenderness, which permits her to fulfill her God-given role of a mother.

With this Christ-like covering, the devil cannot invade with his disease of doubt, suspicion and insecurity.

Blessed is the home that seeks first the kingdom of God, for then all other things will fall into place.
