Forgiveness Lord I have been hurt today My heart is torn in two So here I am in brokenness I draw my strength from you I take my broken heart And place it at your feet For you alone can heal me No matter where we meet Forgive the one who hurt me, Lord May they be blessed today Surround their hearts with your love And guide them all the way Help me to love them, Lord And see them as you do Through your grace and mercy So they can see you too Your Word says to forgive When we do this we will know That we are in your perfect Will With compassion we can grow Thank you, Lord for being there Through every kind of trial For staying right beside me Through every distant mile Your love is a sweet aroma To this broken heart of mine It penetrates within my soul Where no one else can find Thank you, Lord for healing And the strength you give to me For showing me just how to love Forgiveness makes me free!
