Most precious GIFT
no tree could hold . . .
such wealth more cherish'd
than purest gold ~

Sweet Baby Jesus
whose manger bed . . .
held not mere human
King of Glory instead ~

Whose birth bright
Heavenly hosts proclaimed . . .
rejoicing with angels
God's family reclaimed ~

Incarnate God~Child
oh ~ spotless Lamb . . .
first-born of Holy Virgin
SEED OF GREAT I AM ~

Clothed in flesh
THE WORD OF GOD . . .
sinless would bear
man's iniquity rod . . .

Upon THE TREE
not beribbon'd below . . .
MOST PRECIOUS GIFT
Lamb of God did bestow ~

FORGIVENESS for ALL
who call on HIS NAME . . .
cleansed by HIS BLOOD
who took our blame ~

Found not beneath
any Christmas tree . . .
MOST PRECIOUS GIFT ~ JESUS
purchas'd our immortality !
