PSALM of THE MONTH
OCTOBER

PSALM 112


Praise ye the LORD.
Blessed is the man that feareth the LORD,
that delighteth greatly in his commandments.




His seed shall be mighty upon the earth:
the generation of the upright shall be blessed.




Wealth and riches shall be in his house:
and his righteousness endureth for ever.




Unto the upright there ariseth light in the darkness:
he is gracious, and full of compassion, and righteous.




A good man sheweth favour, and lendeth:
he will guide his affairs with discretion.




Surely he shall not be moved for ever:
the righteous shall be in everlasting remembrance.




He shall not be afraid of evil tidings:
his heart is fixed, trusting in the LORD.




His heart is established, he shall not be afraid,
until he see his desire upon his enemies.




He hath dispersed, he hath given to the poor;
his righteousness endureth for ever;
his horn shall be exalted with honour.




The wicked shall see it, and be grieved;
he shall gnash with his teeth, and melt away:
the desire of the wicked shall perish.

In this beautiful Psalm we find:
no matter what the righteous man faces
his hope is in Almighty God.

He may be delivered unto despair or depression.
He may lose ALL he has accumulated in material wealth.
His charcter may come into question.
BUT he will stand firm for he KNOWS his righteousness
is the Righteousness of Jesus Christ.

The righteous man knows in due season,
God will bring him back into the light.
For what is the value of earthly possessions
compared to the Love of God?
What difference if he live in a shack
when he knows a Mansion in Heaven awaits him?

A righteous mans steps are ordered by the Lord.
The wicked WILL have a day of reckoning.
Maybe in this life...maybe not,
but most assuredly in the Eternity to come.

Our God never takes His Eyes off us,
the Righteous in Christ Jesus.

An excellent example is JOB.
Read Job 1:1,8,20 - 22.

Almighty Father,Thank You for how You watch over us,
The Righteous in Christ Jesus. Thank you that no matter what
befalls us in this life, while we walk on this Earth,
YOU are ever mindful of us.
Lord Jesus, Thank you for Your Blood that makes us Righteous.
Holy Spirit, Thank You for revealing Truth in The Word to us.
Quicken us to serve each other in the Body.
Inspire us to carry the Living Word,
Jesus Christ to a dark and dying World.
We lift the name of JESUS.
We PRAISE & ADORE & Worship HIM.
In HIS Holy Name I pray,
