The Prayer Workshop is a time of real joy, intimacy, and peace among sisters in Christ. Oftentimes more can be accomplished in one day, than on a 3-day retreat weekend, especially with a group of less than 10. Our prayer group needed time of intense training to focus on our prayer lives and the ministry to which we all believed we were called...Intercessory Prayer. We called it, "Sitting at the Feet of Jesus."
As we sat at our Lord's feet, washing one another's feet in service and spending time in prayer, worship, and study, we also took some time to put together a craft to remind us of the time we spent together.
For our picture, some selected our scripture-of-the-day others an inspirational poem written by one of our group members that went with the theme of sitting at Jesus' feet as his bride.
Our craft coordinator collected several types of craft paper and fabric, some glue, pre-cut ribbon, some fancy picture frames, and various stickers. Then we set out to do our craft. The rest was up to us to create, as we desired.
(The theme scriptures from the book of Revelation and the inspirational poem were typed up in various fonts; ahead of time for selection.)
Tools

| AT HEAVEN'S GATE |
Lacy handkerchiefs sewn out of love,
clean and pure white,
gentle to the touch
Lacy handkerchiefs sewn of fine linen
await me at heaven's gate--
prepared to wipe away my tears.
I see them folded neatly in an alabaster case.
