Comparing Bathsheba's Life with Our Own...How do we fit in?
- Are we submissive and honorable, or do we often challenge God's will for our lives?
- Are we God-fearing, or sometimes negligent, frivolous, and careless in the circumstances we find ourselves?
- Are we disciplined, or do we lack self-control and willpower?
- Are we modest, or sometimes pretentious?
- Do we allow loneliness to dictate our actions, or are we able to remain faithful in all things?
- Are we blameless, or chargeable when a party to someone else's sin?
- Do we willinglingly go to God when we have sinned, or do we hold back in fear of rejection?
- Do we seek after God-given perception, or are we making irresponsible choices that lead to rueful judgments?
- Do we seek after a closer walk with God, or perhaps set Him aside for the sake of convenience?
- Do we have high moral principles, or loose ideologies?
- Is God-given holiness our aim, or do we lack indiscretion?
