Lesson for us:
It would be a serious mistake to consider that you and I, as Christian women, cannot learn from Delilah just because we are believers and have values and morals. Are we so far removed in our own thinking? No, we probably do not live courtesan-type lives, and maybe we do not think we are manipulators, and maybe we are never dishonest. However, we should take a good strong look at how we conduct our lives. The true feminine charm people see within us, the spiritual love we share, and our graceful womanly appeal should be God's gifts not to be misrepresented or trifled with.
What steps did Delilah take to get her way?
- Flattery
- Humiliation
- Deceitfulness
- Pouting
- Sulking
- Nagging
- Tears

What was Delilah looking for in Samson?
Delilah did not really care about Samson's weakness - she cared about his strength.
As a married woman, what do you look for in your husband?
As a single woman, what do you look for in other men?
What defense did Delilah have for her perfidious deeds? Did she have any defense?
Even though she did not KNOW God, she still had no excuse
For the lips of a strange woman drop as an honeycomb,
and her mouth is smoother than oil;
But her end is bitter as wormwood, sharp as a two-edged sword.
Proverbs 5:3-4.
