The Lord desires the best for His children
In times of discipline or when dealing with disappointment, we must remember that He (the Lord) is bettering us from the inside out.
"But now, O Lord, thou art our father; we are the clay, and thou our potter; and we all are the work of thy hand."
Isaiah 64:8
As Christians we are to be Christ-like, in hope that as we face those trials and temptations, we will move forward relying upon His strength to do so.
"For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the first-born among many brethren."
Romans 8:29
"Come unto me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light."
Matthew 11:28-30
| The Lord will be faithful on His part and in the process we will come closer to being completely faithful on our part.

Perhaps the most we can learn from Eve's experience is what not to do, place blame on others.
Our Lord works in our lives to continue His artisanship of molding us and creating us to be a willing yielded vessel.
The Lord gives us each new day with the exact measure of grace needed.
"And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ's sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong."
2 Corinthians 12: 9-10
When the cry of our heart is:
"Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me. Cast me not away from thy presence, O Lord; and take not thy Holy Spirit from me. Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; and uphold me with thy free spirit."
Psalm 51:10-12
You can be sure the Lord will do His part and keep His promise.
Our Lord is kind, compassionate and loving as our Father. When He reminds us of our shortcomings, we must come to a place of asking Him for forgiveness. He knows the areas that we struggle with especially as women, but as we surrender to Him, then we gain lasting freedom.
