Question for the Group:
What comes to mind when you think of what it must have been like to be the first woman created and your only companions were your husband and the Lord?
Challenge:
What is it that is within us that drives us to test the limit, perhaps as Eve did in vs. 2 & 3?
Questions for the Group:
What questions were brewing in Eve's heart that made her choose to go against God's command found in the previous Chapter of Genesis 2:16 & 17?
Was she as a child testing God's love for her and testing Him to see if He had a limit? What areas do you find that perhaps you are testing God in the same way?

Challenge:
What situation or challenges have you been up against that perhaps you didn't go as far as Eve and actually commit the sinful act, but your thoughts entertained the idea?
Question for the Group:
Did Eve really know of what she was capable? Could she have believed there would actually be consequences to her actions as well as to Adam and the serpent? See vs. 3:16-19.
Challenge:
What was the Lord's purpose in revealing Eve's downfall (verses 13)?
Was it to test her devotion/loyalty to Him?
Challenge:
Is there an area in which the Lord is showing you that you are blaming everyone around you, trying to avoid the issue?
Did Eve learn from her mistake and confront the failure within her? What about for us, what is our initial response?
Final Review:
Look over Eve’s life once again then ask yourself the following questions.
| Are you a child of His? Are you relying upon Him for strength?
Are you ready to take that kind of challenge today?
