Luke 24:10-12
Joanna and Susanna’s Ministries: [Disciples of Christ] Sold out to Jesus and determined to serve Him in life or death [as they total released themselves to him. Joanna was also one of the women who mourned for the Lord at his grave and was used to herald in the Lord’s resurrection!]

Status: Joanna: Poor and did not have the income to put out for extra food to feed 13 hungry men (plus) it was not too good of an idea that she be seen with this (Jesus) crowd. Jesus had not yet been accused of anything but He was not a popular figure in many places.

Character Traits: Willing, Loving, ever grateful for what the Lord had done for them
Physical Attributes: Prior to their coming to the Lord they had been among those who had various infirmities and possibly evil spirits.
Meaning of Names: In the Hebrew Joanna means "The Lord is Grace" and "Jehovah hath shown favor." Susanna means "A White Lily."
