Joanna honored the Lord with her material possessions, though she had few. What other New Testament woman do we read about that gave of what she had. And why does this make God well-pleased. Turn together to Mark 12:41-44 and Luke 21:1-4
Challenge:
God took the time to place Susanna’s name is scripture for us to learn from. Why?
FINAL REVIEW
As one of the last at the cross and first to witness our Lord’s empty tomb, can you think of a greater honor for Joanna? As a woman healed as was Susanna, can you think of a greater honor? Throughout God’s Word we see the significance of women and how God used them and uses them today to teach of the wonders of his grace and mercy. How are you allowing him to use you today?
