Zipporah
Read the accounts of Zipporah in the following Old Testament book:
Exodus 2:21, 22; 4:24, 25; 18:1-6

Her Ministry: For Zipporah it would be a misuse of ministry. She used assertiveness to dishonor her husband. One abusive phrase changed her relationship and position as the wife of Moses.

Her Home Life: Zipporah was one of seven daughters of Jethro (who was also called Reuel or Raguel), and who was a shepherd priest in Midian.

Her Status: Considered the forgotten one. Zipporah married a powerful man of God, Moses, who delivered his people out of bondage. Zipporah, however, was of a different faith than her Hebrew husband, Moses. She is mentioned in scriptures only three times.

Her Purpose: To show us the risk we take when we become unequally yoked with an unbeliever. She was the unbeliever.

Her Character Traits: Ill-tempered, Uninspiring - Not remembered as noble or godly.

Her Physical Attributes: Not Mentioned

Meaning of her name: Sparrow or little bird

Reference:
(We begin with Moses fleeing to Midian after killing an Egyptian.) ...

But Moses fled from Pharaoh’s presence and took refuge in the land of Midian, where he sat down by a well. Now the priest of Midian had seven daughters, and they came and drew water and filled the troughs to water their fathers flock. The shepherds came and drove them away; but Moses stood up and helped them, and watered their flock. And when they came to Reuel (Jethro) their father, he said, How is it that you have come so soon today?

They said, an Egyptian delivered us from the shepherds; also he drew water for us and watered the flock. He said to his daughters, Where is he? Why have you left the man? Call him that he may eat bread.

And Moses was content to dwell with the man; and he gave Moses Zipporah his daughter.

And she bore a son, and he called his name Gershom (meaning, expulsion, or a stranger there); for he said, I have been a stranger and a sojourner in a foreign land.
